Local referendum tomorrow.
In Boscombe and Pokesdown tomorrow a local referendum is being held on the following question;-
“Do you want BCP Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Boscombe & Pokesdown to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?”
I will be voting YES in this referendum as I believe it is essential for communities to have a real say in the planning decisions that directly affect them.
A considerable amount of work has gone into drawing up the Boscombe and Pokesdown Neighbourhood Plan. This work has been done over the last two to three years on a non-partisan basis by a committed group of local residents and business people.
If you’d like to find out more about the Neighbourhood Plan before casting your vote tomorrow, please visit their website at http://www.boscombepokesdown.org.uk/
